Scientists will discuss changing the weather with lasers and creating artificial lightning. Within the scope of the World Meteorological Organization to be organized by the University of Geneva, scientists from all over the world will come together next month to discuss changing the weather with lasers and creating artificial lightning.

University of Geneva biophotonics experts, Professor Jean-Pierre Wolf and Dr Jerone Casparian, who organized the meeting, announced that they plan to accelerate laser studies and put into use methods that can control rain and remove lightning from sensitive buildings.

"We discovered that short laser beams into the atmosphere are a very effective method for weather control," Wolf and Casparian said. In this way, we can control lightning and even create rain clouds,” he said.

THEY TRY TO CREATE CLOUD WITH CEMENT
Trying to control the weather with various objects sent to the atmosphere is not a new concept. In the 1960s, the USA tried to change the weather by sending silver iodine to the sky, and the Soviet Union tried to create a cloud layer that would protect Moscow from radioactive debris after the Chernobyl disaster.

England, on the other hand, has invested money in weather manipulation with chemicals for many years to compensate for the loss of tourism revenues caused by London's dreary weather.

It is known that recently Russia tried to use cement to create clouds, and before the 2008 Olympics, China tried to create beautiful and sunny weather with chemicals they sent into the sky with rockets.

Professor Wolf and Dr Casparian say that they believe that the laser system they are currently working on will provide more effective, easier and faster results than all these methods.
