50 thousand TL grant to the entrepreneur! Science, Industry and Technology Minister Nihat Ergün announced that they will provide grant support of up to 50 thousand liras to entrepreneurs who want to promote and market the technological product they have developed in the country and abroad. Ergün stated that the technological products or prototypes that emerged as a result of R&D and innovation projects could not be adequately promoted and marketed, and that there was a lack of links in the chain from idea to product, from product to market, and thus these products could not be commercialized.
WHAT IS SUPPORTED?
Emphasizing that with this new support program, they aim to make young and innovative entrepreneurs an economic actor with their creative ideas, Ergün said: “Within the scope of the 'Technological Product Promotion and Marketing Support Program', domestic institutions, public institutions and organizations, foundations established by law or international funds. Activities for the domestic and international promotion and marketing of technological products or prototypes created as a result of supported R&D and innovation projects will be supported.
From this month, applications will be received in one-month periods and the evaluation of the applications will be completed in the following month. Regardless of the number of activities, the Ministry will cover up to 50 thousand liras of the requested support amount, the participation fee in the promotion and marketing activities abroad, and up to 25 thousand liras of the participation fee in the promotion and marketing activities in the country, for the applications that are deemed appropriate to be supported by taking into account the budgetary possibilities.
