'Bring the bottle, take the money' period for the environment

The 'bring the bottle, take the money' period for the environment.
Minister of Environment and Urbanization, Erdogan Bayraktar, said that they took a series of decisions to prevent environmental pollution.

Bayraktar noted that they provide incentives to recycle batteries, paper, plastic and bottles, and that they will work with domestic and foreign companies in the project prepared in this direction. Bayraktar, who stated that recycling piggy banks would be established starting from the densely populated areas, continued as follows: “First of all, these piggy banks will be established in shopping malls. If the citizen throws these materials back, he will receive money per bottle. A refund will be made between 25, 50 cents to 1 lira. Thus, we will encourage citizens to separate garbage. We want to spread this throughout Turkey later on. If we can expand this, the economy will be very beneficial.”

FACILITY CLOSED
