The 3rd Turkish-German Water Cooperation Days will be held in Izmir this year. The Turkish-German Water Cooperation Days, which have been organized in Turkey by the German Water Partnership (GWP) for the last two years, will be held in Izmir this year between 25-26 September in cooperation with the Izmir Development Agency (İZKA). The event is also supported by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
This year, Izmir will host the Turkish-German Water Cooperation Days, which started with Ankara in 2011 and continued with Istanbul the following year. Again, experts and officials from the private sector, local governments, public and unions will discuss the effective and sustainable economy of water, environmentally friendly technologies, solutions and cooperation opportunities. The opening speeches of the event, where more than 200 participants from all over Turkey and Germany are expected, will be made by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu and Germany's Consul General to Izmir Margit Häberle. In the first day presentations and panels, the requirements of the Aegean Region regarding water and wastewater management, the legal framework, problems and perspectives will be discussed. During the event, companies from Germany that offer products and services in the field of water technologies will answer the questions of those who are interested at the promotion desks.
