Scientists working at the Center for Electromagnetic Technologies in Spain developed the world's first "self-healing" plastic. The new material, called the "Terminator", will make plastic parts last longer. A piece of plastic cut in half healed 97 percent in two hours when put together, the researchers said. It is stated that with the new material, which has the ability to repair itself at room temperature without requiring an additional heat or light source, everything containing plastic material from houses to cars will have a longer life.
