A protocol was signed between KOCAELİ University and Peking University of Technology to provide support for student exchange and research.
The signing ceremony held at Kocaeli University Rectorate was attended by Kocaeli University Rector Prof.Dr. Sezer S. Komsuoğlu, Rector of Beijing University of Technology Prof. Hu Haiyan, International Student Director Wang Ying, Mechanical Engineering Dean Xiang Changle, Student Affairs Dean Li Zhenjian, Logistics Director Li Jinping, Research Institute Dean Wang Lu, and Kocaeli University vice-rectors and faculty members.
After the presentation containing general information about Kocaeli University and Kocaeli, the Beijing delegation gave information about Beijing and the Institute of Technology.
Beijing University of Technology President Prof. Hu Haiyan stated that their visit is very important for the development of their two universities and said, “Our university students will benefit from each other in research. Research and development is very important to us. Kocaeli University is also a university that we attach great importance to. We will make an important contribution to the development of both universities," he said.
Saying that Beijing Technology University is among the world's leading universities in research, Kocaeli University Vice Rector Prof.Dr. Ali Demirci said, “Beijing University of Technology came to Turkey after Austria and Greece. Beijing delegation preferred Kocaeli University in Turkey. Cooperation between the two universities will be established and support will be provided in student exchange and research. We think it is an important step for the development of both universities.”
