Expressing that they are proud to host such an international conference in İzmir as a university, Vice-Chancellor Kocabaş explained that they have formed a scientific team that includes postgraduate and doctoral students from session chair to technical presentations. prof. Dr. Kocabaş said: “As IKCU faculty members, we will have eight or ten papers. There will be around 50 poster presentations. We are working on a beautiful theme both for today's universal needs and especially for our country and the region where our university is located. The target theme is: How do you ensure your water and energy security? How can you ensure your country's water and energy security today, in the near future, and even in the distant future? While water and energy are directly included in the theme, food safety is indirectly included in the titles. I would like to express that once you pollute your soil and water resources, healthy food cannot be produced.”
