Bursa Technical University's Projects Gained Great Interest in the 2nd Innovation Fair. The Innovation Fair, which was held for the second time this year, met with its visitors at the Istanbul Expo Center. Bursa Technical University took its place in the 2nd Innovation Turkey Innovative Technologies and Inventions Fair in cooperation with Orhangazi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OTSO).
The opening of the fair was made by Deputy Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Prof. Dr. Davut Kavranoğlu, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of South Korea Park Hang Sik, Chairman of the Norwegian Science Council Arvid Hallén, President of TUBITAK Prof. Dr. Yücel Altunbaşak, President of Turkish Patent Institute Prof. Dr. Habip Asan and TİM President Mehmet Büyükekşi.
Bursa Technical University stand attracted great attention at the fair, which was held on 24-27 October 2013, and was flooded by visitors who wanted to get information about the projects.
Bursa Technical University also left its mark on the 2nd Innovation Turkey Innovative Technologies and Inventions Fair, where hundreds of inventions were exhibited.
Bursa Technical University attended the fair; Design and production of composite fibers that improve indoor air quality, Optimum design of energy absorbers that affect frontal collision performance in vehicles, Carbon extraction from biomass to be used as electrode material in supercapacitors, Flotation-based enzymatic deinking of old office papers mixed with ultrasonic energy application, Textile chemical modification from poplar The effect of parallel strip timbers on some physical, mechanical and biological properties, Determination of persistent organic pollutants (cocci) in soil and air samples in selected urban and rural areas in Turkey, Determination of saponins contained in Saponaria prostrata WILD subsp.anatlica HEDGE (CARYOPHLLACEAE) Plant and participated with the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) LAGARI.
850 different projects were exhibited at the Turkey Innovative Technologies and Inventions Fair.
