Agricultural biofuel is coming to villages without natural gas…

Agricultural biofuel is coming to villages without natural gas… The Black Sea Agricultural Research Institute (KTAE) Energy Agriculture Research Center (ETAM), which was established by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock to produce biofuel types from the wastes of energy crops, is the research of scientists, biodiesel, bioethanol and agricultural plant, which is the raw material of biomass. The fact that they converted their wastes into solid fuel with the system they established also mobilized the private sector. Ömer Uzun, Chairman of the Board of Paşaoğulları İnşaat Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi, which works on heat boiler systems in Samsun, noted that they aim to expand the use of pellets and briquettes, which are more environmentally friendly and high-calorie fuels than wood and coal, in rural areas where natural gas is not available.

When the global economic crisis in the past years increased natural gas prices, citizens in European countries turned to solid fuel heating systems. A significant part of these systems, which were in great demand in many countries, especially in Germany, were exported from Turkey. Ömer Uzun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Paşaoğulları İnşaat Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi, the Black Sea Region Distributor of Termopan Group, the leading name of the solid fuel boilers sector, which develops projects based on the inability to use natural gas in rural areas and villages, stated that they are preparing for a new process regarding heating systems.

Speaking to Cihan News Agency (Cihan), businessman Ömer Uzun said that they will turn the rich potential of the Black Sea Region into an opportunity in terms of agro-industrial wastes of tea powder, hazelnut husk, rice husk, wheat starch, wheat straw, olive pulp, corn, sugar beet and oily plants. told. Expressing that they are working on solid fuels with high heat calories, an alternative to wood and coal used in high and rural areas where natural gas cannot be heated, Uzun said that they believe that pellets or briquettes will be an important fuel for farmers.

NO DAMAGES TO NATURE

Ömer Uzun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Paşaoğulları İnşaat Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi, who stated that the work on the compression of inert agricultural products into solid fuel continues, said, “There is a tremendous demand for these products abroad. They are extremely respectful to nature and make harmless releases into the air. Since they are compressed products, they are high in heat calories. We think that there will be a transition in the near future regarding these product groups in rural areas, provinces, districts and villages, apart from natural gas produced. By completing its studies in the field of solid fuel, Termopan produces boilers that can burn pellet fuel. We will expand these boilers in the rural areas of our region.” said.

PELLET WILL BE AN ALTERNATIVE TO COAL

Explaining that Termopan has started the production of special heat boilers for high-calorie fuels, businessman Ömer Uzun said, “It will take some time for us to explain this product to people in our region. We think that after the full use of this product, the people of the region will accept it and will be very satisfied. Because in places where there is no natural gas, people provide their heating with solid fuel. This is usually coal. There is excessive air pollution in areas where coal is used. Air pollution can also be removed with pellet fuel. Pellet fuel boilers will now make a great contribution to the heating comfort of people.” he said.

FARMERS WILL PRODUCE OWN FUEL

Pointing out that the necessary raw materials for pellet and briquette fuels are easily available, Businessman Uzun said, “There are people who produce this in our region industrially. Their cost is also very low. We are in the individual-oriented work section. There are large-scale fuel systems, but we will reduce them to the individual. We have worked on how farmers can buy the product and produce their own pellets. The manufacturing companies we work with have also completed the construction of small-scale devices. When people demand these, they can buy small-scale pellet production machine along with the boilers and produce their fuel in the size they want. The prices are not very high either. It will be used more than coal in the coming period.” used the phrases.

The heat calories of vegetable wastes are as follows:
Lignite coal: 3 thousand 500-3 thousand 800
Depending on the tree, woods: 3 thousand-3 thousand 500
Tea powder: 4 thousand 400
Sunflower stalk: 3 thousand 900-4 thousand
Rapeseed: 3 thousand 900-4 thousand
Hazelnut Harvest: 3 thousand 700
Corn stalk: 3 thousand 700-3 thousand 800
Paddy stalk: 3 thousand 500
Paddy pool: 3 thousand 400
