1st National Biosensor Congress Aroused Great Interest. The International Biosensor Congress, which was organized for the first time this year by Namık Kemal University, which we support as a press sponsor, attracted great attention.
The National Biosensor Congress was successfully completed, hosted by NKU, with nearly 130 scientists from various universities in the country and foreign guests. Hacettepe University, Faculty of Science, Chemistry Prof. Dr. Adil Denizli, Ege University, Faculty of Science, Biochemistry Prof. Dr. Azmi Telefoncu, Ege University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Analytical Chemistry Prof. Dr. Arzum Erdem Gürsan , Universita Degli Studi Di Firenze, Sesto Florentino, Italy Prof. Dr. Marco Mascını, Gediz University, Nanotechnology Prof. Dr. Mehmet Şengün Özsöz, National Research Council, Institute for Atmospheric Pollution, Italy Roberto Pilloton attended as speaker.

27 oral presentations and 37 poster presentations were evaluated in the congress.
As a result of the jury evaluation, Asst. Assoc. Dr. Memed DUMAN was selected as the best oral paper for his work titled “Novel preparation method for paper-based rapid urease test” and a tablet computer was presented to him.

Among the 37 poster presentations presented during our congress, as a result of the jury evaluation, Dr. Javed H. Niazi was selected as the best poster for his work titled “Capacitance based label-free apta-immunosensor for sensitive detection of VEGF cancer biomarker protein in real human serum” and a tablet computer was presented to him.
