In ALOSBİ, where factory investments continue, additional investments have started in existing companies. Chairman of the Board of ALOSBI Atil Akkan, said that 42 companies are operating in the region and 24 are about to complete their factory constructions. Akkan noted that 60 thousand people will be employed once the entire region becomes operational.

LARGE PLOTS
Stating that there are investors from Mexico, Belgium, France and America in addition to many local giant companies in ALOSBİ, Atıl Akkan said, “There are 5 industrial parcels ranging from 575 thousand to 362 thousand square meters in our region. In particular, we host investments in the chemical, plastic, metal, casting, rolling, automotive and machinery sectors. We are the only organized industrial zone in the Aegean Region with huge parcels ranging from 100 thousand to 575 thousand square meters. We serve the industrialists who decide to invest, without wasting time and without getting stuck in bureaucracy, with the logic of 'get your parcel today, prepare your project, start the investment the next day'”.

Noting that ALOSBİ consists of two divisions, namely Chemistry and Mixed, Akkan stated that the region is attractive for chemistry investments due to both being a strategic sector and being close to raw materials, and continued as follows: considering ideal conditions industry and Trade Ministrydetermined Aliağa OSB as the base of the chemical industry and Chemical Specialization and Mixed Organized Industrial Zone Announced. Emphasizing that ALOSBİ has a strategic and logistic importance due to its location, Atıl Akkan said, “ALOSBİ stands out with its logistics center identity located at the intersection of Aliağa Ports, İzmir-Çanakkale Highway and İzmir-Bandırma Railway. Aliağa will be the most important port region of the country in the near future, with the addition of the Northern Aegean Çandarlı Port, which is under construction, and the ports of Socar-Petkim, to Aliağa ports, where the Aegean Region's 17 billion dollar export is 10.2 billion dollars.

GREEN OSB
Stating that they broke new ground in Turkey in order to offer the world's most modern infrastructure to investors, Atıl Akkan said that they established a 46 thousand meters long 'Gallery System', thus preventing the region from returning to the construction site during the maintenance and repair phases. Explaining that they have allocated 3 million square meters as green space, Akkan said, "We will have planted 80 thousand saplings in the region with 40 thousand saplings planted in the past years and 120 thousand red pine and cypress saplings being planted in this period." shared his knowledge.
