Fehmi Koru, (Born 24 July 1950, İzmir) Turkish journalist and writer. He graduated from İzmir High Islamic Institute (today 9 Eylül University, Faculty of Theology) (1973). He completed his master's degree at Harvard University's Center for Middle Eastern Studies in the United States (1982). He studied language for 15 months in London and one year in Damascus.
He was a researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology 'University's International Research Center in the United States for two years (1980 - 1982).
He worked as a consultant in the Presidency of Economic Cooperation of Islamic Countries in the State Planning Organization (1985 - 1986).
He was the editor-in-chief of Milli Gazete for a period (1984). Since its foundation, he was the editor-in-chief of Zaman Newspaper (1986-1987), and later the editorial and Ankara representative of the newspaper (1995-1998).
He joined Yeni Şafak newspaper as the representative of Ankara in 1999 and until 2010 was also the lead editor of the newspaper. Later he worked as a columnist in Star (2011-2014) and Habertürk (2014-2016) newspapers.

In addition to his newspaper articles, he participated in various television programs as a commentator. Kanal-7 was a regular news commentator of the television channel (1995-2015).
