We feel a decrease due to commodity prices and exchange rates.” Expressing that they are working on new export models, Akyüz said, “As a country, we have a challenging and intense agenda. Our hope is that this environment will come to a different point in a short time. As the chemical industry, we will continue to take measures that will both reduce our foreign trade deficit and increase our export performance. We continue to work on new export models, with innovation, R&D, design and branding still in our focus.”
Iraq, Germany and Jordan
Iraq, Germany and Jordan were the top three exporting countries of the chemical industry in September; other countries were listed as United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Italy, Iran, Greece, Romania and England. In the January-September period, Egypt, Iraq and Germany took the lead; United Arab Emirates, Italy, Iran, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan-Nakhchivan and Greece were the countries with the highest export.
